Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 1 or Lower Key Stage 2 pupils
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure continuous academic development
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, kindness, and collaboration
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and well-being
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives
- Support the school's values by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive and supportive learning community
- Promote high standards of behaviour through consistent and positive classroom management
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Experience or willingness to teach in a primary school setting
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Preferred
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Background in early years or primary education
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies
- Experience with supporting students with special educational needs
