Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a range of subjects in Key Stage 1 with a focus on effective learning and student progress.
• Deliver consistently high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils.
• Maintain strong communication and engagement with children, parents, and carers.
• Provide clear and accurate reports on student progress and set targets for improvement.
• Support the pastoral care of the class and maintain an accurate attendance register.
• Use appropriate differentiated teaching strategies to motivate and support student learning.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children in line with the school’s policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other agencies to support student achievement and wellbeing.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 1 education.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Familiarity with educational technology and willingness to adopt new teaching methods.

Preferred

• Experience with digital learning tools and technologies.
• Background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESOL).
• Experience in pastoral care and student support.
• Knowledge of the latest teaching standards and methodologies.
