The Opportunity:

As an Exam Invigilator, you will ensure that public and internal examinations are conducted in a fair, secure, and professional manner. Your role is essential in maintaining the integrity of the assessment process and supporting students during high-pressure academic events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and ensure they are set up in accordance with JCQ regulations
• Distribute and collect exam materials securely and efficiently
• Supervise students during exams to maintain a calm and focused environment
• Assist students with basic queries in line with established protocols
• Record attendance and manage confidential materials with care
• Follow strict procedures and report any incidents to the Exams Officer
• Ensure all exam-related activities are conducted in a professional and respectful manner
• Work collaboratively with the Exams Officer and other staff members

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Calm, confident, and able to work quietly for extended periods
• Highly attentive to detail
• Ability to follow strict procedures and maintain confidentiality
• Friendly and approachable with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting
• Previous experience in exam invigilation or similar roles
• Ability to give clear instructions and supervise candidates effectively
• Strong organisational and time management skills
