The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Maths Teacher to join a successful department and support students across Key Stages 3–5. The role includes teaching A Level Mathematics, with opportunities to support university entrance preparation and contribute to a vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5 with a focus on A Level and Further Mathematics.
- Deliver PSHEE and support form tutor responsibilities.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s enrichment programme and academic support initiatives.
- Support students in preparation for university entrance exams such as STEP, MAT, and TMUA.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain the school’s high academic standards and student outcomes.
- Participate in departmental meetings, planning, and staff development activities.
- Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents to support student well-being and academic success.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3–5.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics and A Level qualifications.
- Commitment to academic excellence and safeguarding.
- Excellent classroom practice and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience teaching Further Mathematics.
- Familiarity with university entrance exams (STEP, MAT, TMUA).
- Experience in PSHEE delivery or form tutor responsibilities.
- Involvement in student enrichment or extracurricular activities.
