Key Responsibilities:
- Support students in making progress in their learning through proactive and positive engagement.
- Work closely with students to build confidence and encourage independence.
- Assist in creating a connected and forward-thinking learning environment through the use of electronic devices.
- Contribute to a positive and solution-focused working environment that values the well-being of both students and staff.
- Provide guidance and support that reflects high aspirations for every learner’s success.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a consistent approach to student support and development.
- Engage with students in a way that is empathetic, understanding, and sensitive to their individual needs.
- Act as a positive role model, particularly for A-level student leavers who are looking to begin their careers in education.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Commitment to supporting students in making progress and achieving their learning goals.
- A genuine understanding and sensitivity to the challenges faced by students.
- A proactive and positive approach to working with students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in education or related fields.
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience working with students with additional needs.
- A-level qualifications or equivalent.
- Flexibility to consider reduced hours or flexible working arrangements.
