The Opportunity:

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping young minds within a dynamic and inspiring school community. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education in English, Maths, and other subjects, while supporting the pastoral and emotional development of students.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and achievement.
Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the school community.
Support the pastoral needs of students and contribute to the school’s community ethos.
Work closely with the phase leader to ensure the success of the school’s educational vision.
Stay up to date with developments in teaching practice and curriculum innovation.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

Qualified teacher with a degree-level teaching qualification.
Experience working within a Junior School setting (Nursery to Year 6), with a focus on Key Stage 2.
Strong subject knowledge in English and Maths.
Commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Preferred
