Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and innovative Computer Science lessons that support student learning and progress.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies in line with current pedagogical practices.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to design and sequence curriculum content.
• Act as a Form Tutor, supporting student well-being and academic development.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the school’s teaching and learning initiatives.
• Provide regular feedback to students to support their growth and achievement.
• Maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to the school’s culture of high standards and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Completed the Early Career Framework (ECF)
• Proven experience in teaching Computer Science at the appropriate level
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred

• Experience in curriculum leadership or development
• Experience with form tutoring or pastoral care
• Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies
• Experience with professional development programs or teacher coaching
