A school is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher to join their team for an exciting maternity cover role. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire a love of learning and encourage curiosity.
- Integrate technology and current teaching practices to enhance student engagement and achievement.
- Contribute to the pastoral care of students and support their personal growth and development.
- Participate actively in co-curricular activities, including sport, the arts, and other enrichment opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with parents and the wider school community.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students, promptly reporting any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in KS2 education.
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to innovative teaching methods.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- A passion for education and a genuine interest in student welfare and development.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
Preferred
- Experience with the Harmony Project curriculum or similar holistic approaches.
- Familiarity with technology integration in the classroom.
- Experience in co-curricular or extracurricular activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
