The Opportunity:

Join a supportive and dynamic team as a Teaching Assistant, contributing to a positive and nurturing learning environment for boys aged 2.5 to 13. This role plays a vital part in assisting teachers and supporting students’ academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in creating a warm and caring classroom environment for students.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing classroom materials and displays.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stay informed about school policies and student well-being.
  • Cover for colleagues when needed and support during absences.
  • Supervise students during off-site activities such as swimming lessons and educational trips.
  • Assist with lunchtime supervision and road crossing of pupils.
  • Prepare and clear resources, and maintain classroom and resource areas.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A genuine interest in and enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to participating in the extra-curricular life of the school.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities.
