The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated Lacrosse Sports Coach to join our successful PE Department. The role involves coaching lacrosse and other sports, assisting with PE lessons, and leading teams during practices and matches. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate coach to make a real impact on student development and sporting success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach lacrosse and other sports across all age groups.
• Deliver curriculum PE lessons and support the school’s sporting programme.
• Lead lacrosse teams during training sessions, matches, and umpiring events.
• Develop and implement training programmes to enhance student performance.
• Promote a culture of inclusivity, teamwork, and sporting excellence.
• Collaborate with other PE staff and coaches to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Attend and participate in Saturday matches and after-school fixtures.
• Support the school’s commitment to excellence in sport through regular assessments and feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience coaching lacrosse at a high level, preferably to county or regional standard.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Commitment to student welfare and development.
• Relevant qualifications in sports coaching or education.

Preferred

• Experience working in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of other sports and the ability to coach a range of sports.
• Experience with youth development and team management.
• Familiarity with performance pathways and competitive fixtures.
• Passion for promoting inclusivity and diversity in sport.
