The Opportunity:

We are seeking two Sports Graduates to join our accomplished sports team and contribute to a wide range of sporting and co-curricular activities. This role offers the chance to gain hands-on experience in teaching and coaching across multiple sports, with the potential for renewal after one year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach across a variety of sports and provide cover for fixtures, including weekends and evenings.
  • Contribute to the school’s sporting and co-curricular programme.
  • Support the development of student athletes and promote a culture of respect and integrity.
  • Work closely with the Director of Sport to ensure the successful delivery of the sports programme.
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of sports events and competitions.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall mission of the school.
  • Adhere to safeguarding and child protection policies at all times.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Recent graduate with a degree in sports science, physical education, or a related field.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of respect, kindness, humility, integrity, and resilience.
  • Ability to coach and teach across a range of sports.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with young people in an educational setting.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or coaching within a school environment.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Experience with extra-curricular sports programmes.
  • Familiarity with the school’s ethos and values.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • 35 hours per week, with hours to be confirmed with the Director of Sport.
