Key Responsibilities:

  • Model outstanding teaching practice and lead by example in the classroom.
  • Support curriculum development and ensure consistency in the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
  • Coach and mentor colleagues to promote innovative teaching strategies and improve teaching standards.
  • Contribute to whole-school teaching and learning strategies and initiatives.
  • Help create a purposeful and engaging learning environment that supports student progress and achievement.
  • Work closely with Curriculum Leaders and the Senior Leadership Team to deliver high-quality provision and drive school improvement.
  • Promote the school’s PROUD values across all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Ensure alignment with the school’s Playbook and support staff in achieving outstanding practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a classroom practitioner with a strong track record in teaching and learning.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve teaching standards.
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and driving school improvement.
  • Ability to model outstanding teaching practice and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in Maths or Science teaching.
  • Familiarity with the Uxbridge High School Playbook and teaching strategies.
  • Experience in supporting student progress across all key stages, including A Level.
  • Background in innovative teaching methods and continuous professional development.
