Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons to students in Grades 1-5.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Provide individualized support to students to help them reach their full potential.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement lesson plans and activities.
  • Engage with students and their families to foster a strong school community.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with teachers and parents.
  • Promote a culture of respect, empathy, and academic excellence within the school.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree.
  • At least two years of experience supporting teachers in a school setting.
  • Recent experience working with students in Grades 1-5 (Years 2-6).
  • Willingness to work within an American curriculum school with provided training and guidance.

Preferred

  • Experience working with local communities and Emirati students and families.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with students and parents in a positive and supportive manner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience in early childhood education or primary education.
