Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in one-to-one, small group, and whole-class settings.
  • Assist teachers with lesson planning and preparation.

  • Contribute to the delivery of a knowledge-based academic curriculum.
  • Promote leadership and character development through school initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting.
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Ability to support learning in individual and group settings.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a leadership or character development programme.
  • Previous experience in a Star Academies school.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Demonstrated commitment to improving educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
