Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with learning needs through individualized and group-based assistance.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Monitor and report on student progress and behavior regularly.
  • Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in student support.
  • Provide emotional and social support to students as needed.
  • Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to the school’s values of respect, courage, ambition, and hope.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in learning support or special educational needs.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Experience with the Church of England or Catholic faith-based education.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
