Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with learning needs through individualized and group-based assistance.
- Work closely with teachers to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Monitor and report on student progress and behavior regularly.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in student support.
- Provide emotional and social support to students as needed.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
- Experience working with young people, ideally in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the school’s values of respect, courage, ambition, and hope.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in learning support or special educational needs.
- Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
- Experience with the Church of England or Catholic faith-based education.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
