The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support a child's learning and development across the school. This role is essential in ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support children in all aspects of their learning and development.
• Assist with lunchtime supervision and engagement.
• Work closely with the Inclusion Team to provide tailored support.
• Promote positive behavior and inclusive practices.
• Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet individual student needs.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
• Contribute to the development of individual learning plans.
• Provide regular updates to the Inclusion Team on student progress and needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with children, ideally with Special Educational Needs.
• Good standards in English and Mathematics.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
• Graduate qualification or current student in an education-related field.
