Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with additional needs in both academic and social settings.
  • Work closely with teachers to develop individualized learning plans.
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students reach their full potential.
  • Assist in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress regularly.
  • Collaborate with other support staff and external agencies as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school-wide support strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Experience working with students with additional needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to inclusion and student well-being.
  • Relevant qualifications in education or a related field.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of special educational needs and disability (SEND) support.
  • Experience with behavior management strategies.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology.
