Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Religious Studies at Key Stages 4 and 5.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that inspire and challenge students.
  • Contribute to the planning and delivery of the curriculum across the EBACC Faculty.
  • Support students in achieving their full potential through formative and summative assessments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Promote the school's values and ethos through positive role modelling.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Studies.
  • Experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
  • Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching additional subjects within the EBACC Faculty.
  • Experience with pastoral care or student support.
  • Demonstrable experience in professional development and leadership.
