Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in Religious Studies at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that inspire and challenge students.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the curriculum across the EBACC Faculty.
- Support students in achieving their full potential through formative and summative assessments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
- Promote the school's values and ethos through positive role modelling.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Religious Studies.
- Experience teaching Religious Studies at Key Stage 4 and ideally Key Stage 5.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver creative and engaging lessons.
- Commitment to student welfare and safeguarding.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching additional subjects within the EBACC Faculty.
- Experience with pastoral care or student support.
- Demonstrable experience in professional development and leadership.
