Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive PE lessons across all age groups
  • Assist in the development of fundamental skills, teamwork, and lifelong enjoyment of physical activity
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a motivating and challenging sporting environment
  • Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and the wider life of the school
  • Promote pupil wellbeing and personal development through physical education
  • Encourage participation and inclusivity in all sporting activities
  • Support reflective practice and shared professional learning within the Sport department
  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of school events and activities

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A genuine enthusiasm for PE and school sport
  • Experience working with children and young people across a range of ages and abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach
  • Commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and personal development
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team

Preferred

  • Experience in a school or educational setting
  • Knowledge of current PE teaching methodologies
  • Experience with extracurricular sport and school events
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices
