We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic PE Teaching Assistant to support the delivery of high-quality PE lessons and sporting activities across all key stages. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of engaging and inclusive PE lessons across all age groups
- Assist in the development of fundamental skills, teamwork, and lifelong enjoyment of physical activity
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to create a motivating and challenging sporting environment
- Contribute to extracurricular sporting activities and the wider life of the school
- Promote pupil wellbeing and personal development through physical education
- Encourage participation and inclusivity in all sporting activities
- Support reflective practice and shared professional learning within the Sport department
- Assist with the organisation and delivery of school events and activities
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A genuine enthusiasm for PE and school sport
- Experience working with children and young people across a range of ages and abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional approach
- Commitment to supporting pupil wellbeing and personal development
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting
- Knowledge of current PE teaching methodologies
- Experience with extracurricular sport and school events
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience with inclusive teaching practices
