As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development. You will work closely with teaching staff to help pupils access the curriculum, manage classroom environments, and promote positive behavior. Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils in accessing learning and managing classroom activities under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Provide individual and group support to students with specific learning needs.
• Assist in the delivery of learning activities and programs tailored to pupil needs.
• Encourage and motivate students, helping them build confidence and independence.
• Maintain positive behavior and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Liaise with parents and carers to support student progress and development.
• Keep accurate records and follow school policies and procedures.
• Participate in training, professional development, and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with or caring for children of relevant age.
• Evidence of the ability to work unsupervised and follow complex instructions.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use IT effectively to support learning.
• Up-to-date Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Preferred

• Experience working with young people outside of a school setting.
• Willingness to undertake training related to the role.
• Experience in supporting students with special educational needs.
