As Vice Principal – Quality of Education, you will play a pivotal role in driving school improvement, leading curriculum development, and inspiring both staff and students to achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the school’s quality of education strategy, ensuring continuous improvement in teaching and learning
- Oversee curriculum development, ensuring alignment with the school’s vision and values
- Support and develop staff through effective CPD and professional growth opportunities
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning across the school
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
- Build strong partnerships with staff, students, and the wider school community
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with the Principal to drive school improvement and raise standards
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven leadership experience in education, ideally as an assistant or deputy head
- Strong experience in curriculum development and quality assurance
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead teams with empathy and authority
- Commitment to inclusivity, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
Preferred
- Experience in school improvement and raising standards
- Familiarity with Ofsted and inspection processes
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
- Strong understanding of British Values and cultural diversity in education
