The Opportunity:

As a Learning Support Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) across all year groups. Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting SEND students in lessons across all year groups
• Liaising with staff, parents, and students to ensure that SEND students reach their full potential
• Building strong relationships with students and acting as a keyworker for those with complex needs
• Developing and sharing effective strategies for supporting SEND students with colleagues
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance SEND support practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Good levels of numeracy and literacy (GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths)
• A positive and resilient attitude
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt communication styles to meet student needs
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Flexibility and an understanding of the individual needs of students

Preferred

• Experience in SEND support or education
• A willingness to pursue specialist qualifications in the future
• Experience working with students with a range of additional needs
