The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Teacher to join a dynamic and supportive department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised learning support to students across all year groups.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and other support services to create and implement effective learning plans.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing detailed feedback to colleagues and families.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of the school’s co-curricular programme.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student progress and interventions.
  • Support students in developing independent learning skills and confidence.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in learning support.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive education and differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with students with a range of learning needs.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Preferred

  • Experience in a co-educational, independent school setting.
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and learning support tools.
  • Experience in curriculum development or special educational needs support.
  • Familiarity with pastoral care and student welfare initiatives.
