Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students across all key stages.
  • Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve the teaching and learning experience.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the planning and development of the mathematics curriculum.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Support the introduction of a Sixth Form, if applicable, by teaching Key Stage 5 mathematics.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in mathematics education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
  • Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience in delivering lessons to a range of abilities.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching Key Stage 5 mathematics.
  • Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods or curriculum development.
  • Experience in pastoral care or student support.
