Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality mathematics lessons that engage and challenge students across all key stages.
- Support students in developing a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve the teaching and learning experience.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the planning and development of the mathematics curriculum.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives.
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Support the introduction of a Sixth Form, if applicable, by teaching Key Stage 5 mathematics.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in mathematics education.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Commitment to student success and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience in delivering lessons to a range of abilities.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Key Stage 5 mathematics.
- Experience in working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or curriculum development.
- Experience in pastoral care or student support.
