Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality science education to students across key stages.
• Develop and implement engaging and innovative teaching strategies.
• Support students in achieving excellent GCSE and A Level results.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the science curriculum and departmental practices.
• Engage and inspire students through effective classroom management and relationship-building.
• Contribute to the school’s ethos by promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular science activities.
• Support the professional development of self and colleagues.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with a relevant science degree.
• Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge in biology, chemistry, or physics.
• Ability to deliver outstanding student outcomes.
• Commitment to working as a team player within a collaborative department.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching at both GCSE and A Level.
• Experience with innovative teaching methods and curriculum development.
• Experience in leading or supporting science-related extracurricular activities.
• Familiarity with Catholic values and ethos.
