Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all school buildings, facilities, and equipment to the highest standard.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
• Support the Head of Grounds and Maintenance in managing day-to-day operations.
• Respond promptly to repair requests and emergencies across the school site.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure all areas of the school are clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance work and consumables used.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
• Contribute to the upkeep of the school's extensive grounds and outdoor spaces.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Strong practical skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing a first-class service to students, staff, and visitors.
• Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for travel around the site.

Preferred

• Experience in a school or educational setting.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures.
• Familiarity with building management systems and software.
• Experience with emergency response and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
