Key Responsibilities:

• Support the delivery of the curriculum and assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children.
• Work closely with the teaching team to support individual learning needs and promote positive behaviour.
• Assist with the supervision and care of children during all aspects of the school day.
• Encourage creativity, independence, and social development through play and structured activities.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate regularly with parents and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to ensure continuous professional development.
• Promote the school's values, including equality, diversity, and inclusion, in all interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support the school’s mission and values.
• Basic understanding of early years education and child development.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting.
• Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Experience with inclusive practices and supporting children with diverse needs.
