The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across a range of age groups.
  • Work closely with experienced mentors to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the Mathematics curriculum.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and staff development programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports in line with school policies and procedures.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A strong academic background in Mathematics.
  • A clear passion for Mathematics and a commitment to teaching.
  • A graduate degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Willingness to complete the PGCE training program.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or education-related roles.
  • Familiarity with independent school environments.
  • Experience with curriculum development and delivery.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
