The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our Senior School team and support students in Years 7-13. This role offers the chance to contribute to a high-performing department and make a meaningful impact on student learning and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Mathematics to students across Years 7-13, including both Pure and Applied A level Maths and Further Maths.
- Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students, promoting a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Continuously develop and refine teaching methods to ensure the highest standards of education.
- Support students in their academic progress and personal development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain departmental excellence.
- Participate in curriculum development and contribute to departmental planning.
- Monitor and assess student performance to inform future teaching strategies.
- Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary level.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Ability to teach both Pure and Applied A level Maths and Further Maths.
Preferred
- Experience working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Passion for Mathematics and a commitment to inspiring student interest in the subject.
