Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons that inspire and engage students of all abilities.
- Develop and implement a broad and balanced sports curriculum tailored to different age groups.
- Promote a culture of physical activity and healthy lifestyles across the school.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school’s strategy for growth and development.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Work closely with the School’s welfare and development initiatives to support student wellbeing.
- Stay up to date with best practices in physical education and sport.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience.
- Experience of teaching PE to students across a range of ages.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative.
Preferred
- Experience of working in a school with a strong focus on personal development.
- Knowledge of sports coaching and leadership.
- Experience in developing and delivering extracurricular sports programs.
- Familiarity with the Mill Hill Education Group’s values and mission.
