Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Maths to a diverse range of learners, including 16-19-year-olds and adult students.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons that support student achievement and progression.
• Prepare and assess coursework in line with curriculum standards and qualifications.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of teaching strategies.
• Support learners through individualised guidance and pastoral care.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice and subject knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay up to date with developments in the subject and educational best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Qualified teacher status or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Maths to a range of learners, including 16-19-year-olds and adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.

Preferred

• Experience with GCSE and A-Level qualifications.
• Previous experience in Further Education or similar settings.
• Familiarity with industry-standard teaching resources and technologies.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and innovation in teaching methods.
