Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons aligned with the British Curriculum, including GCSE and A level.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve outstanding results in Mathematics.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and departments to enhance the learning experience.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s extracurricular activities and student enrichment programs.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • A PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching GCSE and A level Mathematics.
  • Experience within the British Curriculum.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Preferred

  • Experience working in an international school setting.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Knowledge of innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Experience in student mentorship or pastoral care.
