Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
  • Ensure strong progress and attainment in Maths at KS3 and KS4.
  • Provide excellent feedback and assessment to support student growth and learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver a high-quality curriculum.
  • Promote the school values of Manners, Hard Work, and Honesty in all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Support students with additional needs and ensure they have access to the full curriculum.
  • Participate in professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to the school values of Manners, Hard Work, and Honesty.
  • Ability to engage and challenge students to achieve their best.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching Science subjects.
  • Flexibility to work in a supportive and collaborative environment.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching strategies for students with additional needs.
  • Experience with professional development and reflective practice.
