Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring a stimulating and inclusive learning experience.
• Promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement the PE curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support improvement.
• Encourage student participation in sports and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all students during PE lessons.
• Support the school’s values and mission through positive role modeling and professional conduct.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge and experience in PE.
• Experience teaching in a school setting, ideally with KS3 and KS4 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to student welfare and safety.

Preferred

• Experience in developing and delivering sports-based extracurricular programs.
• Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
• Familiarity with current PE curriculum standards and assessment methods.
