Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the trust to ensure alignment with broader educational goals and values.
  • Promote a strong pastoral system and ensure that all students receive the support they need to thrive.
  • Encourage and support staff development through ongoing professional learning opportunities.
  • Ensure the school maintains and improves its high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour.
  • Engage actively with the local community to enhance the school's role as a hub for education and cultural activities.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience as a Headteacher or senior leader in a similar educational setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • A clear understanding of educational best practices and current trends in school leadership.
  • Experience in driving school improvement and achieving high standards in student outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and the wider community.

Preferred

  • Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar collaborative educational structure.
  • A track record of successful curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience in managing large-scale school transitions or relocations.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education and supporting students with additional needs.
  • A commitment to community engagement and the promotion of student leadership.
