Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging Maths lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and supported.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching and learning.
  • Support students to achieve their full potential through differentiated instruction and targeted interventions.
  • Promote the school’s values of Enjoy-Learn-Succeed in all aspects of teaching and student engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive, team-oriented school culture.
  • Uphold the highest standards of teaching and demonstrate a commitment to inclusion and equity.
  • Work closely with the Central Team and other schools in the Beckfoot Trust to enhance professional practice.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire student curiosity and a love of learning.
  • Commitment to inclusion, equity, and the highest standards of teaching.
  • Experience working with students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute positively to a school culture.
  • Demonstrated drive for continuous improvement and professional growth.

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language or working in culturally diverse environments.
  • Experience in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and equity.
  • Background in a Trust or multi-academy setting.
  • Experience in curriculum development and innovative teaching practices.
