Key Responsibilities:
- Support teaching and learning by providing high-quality cover during staff absences.
- Deliver lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and pedagogical values.
- Maintain discipline, behaviour, and a positive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure consistency in delivery.
- Reflect on and improve teaching practices through regular coaching and feedback.
- Support the school’s mission of fostering student achievement and character development.
- Contribute to the school’s culture of inclusivity, innovation, and excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in teaching or learning support within a school environment.
- Ability to plan and deliver lessons across a range of subjects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student behaviour management and positive classroom culture.
- Flexibility and willingness to work across different year groups and subjects.
Preferred
- Experience in cover supervision or acting as a supply teacher.
- Knowledge of the school’s values and mission.
- Experience with pastoral care and student support.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience working within a multi-academy trust or similar organisation.
