Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students they teach
• Be accountable for the learning and achievement of all students they teach
• Liaise with teaching colleagues across the academy to support strategic development and share good practice
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people, following school and Trust policies
• Collaborate on initiatives to raise standards and improve outcomes for all students
• Use technology effectively to enhance learning and support innovation in the classroom
• Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement journey of the school

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience of teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Consistently good or outstanding teaching practice
• Exceptional classroom management with high expectations of learning and behaviour
• The ability to inspire and motivate students
• Commitment to raising standards and continuous professional development
• Proficient use of technology for learning and a willingness to innovate

Preferred

• Experience of leading initiatives or showing evidence of impact
• A passion for making a difference to students and colleagues
• Experience working within a Multi-Academy Trust
