Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality Science lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters a strong foundation of scientific knowledge.
• Maintain high expectations for student behaviour and academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support student learning.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in Science and incorporate them into teaching.
• Support students with special educational needs and ensure inclusive learning experiences.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them excel.
• Contribute to the wider school community by participating in events and initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified Science Teacher with relevant experience.
• Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Experience in curriculum design and assessment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

• Experience with teaching students with special educational needs.
• Familiarity with the Co-op values and ethos.
• Experience in a school with a strong focus on inclusion and equity.
