Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality maths lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in mathematics.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that align with the school’s curriculum and pedagogy.
- Support students in preparing for GCSE and A Level examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s maths department and share best practices.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Contribute to the school’s mission of developing leadership potential in both students and staff.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities to support student development.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in maths education.
- Experience teaching to GCSE and A Level standards.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Commitment to raising attainment in a disadvantaged community.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive and dynamic team.
Preferred
- Experience in an all-through school setting (ages 4–19).
- Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) or similar.
- Background in leadership development or senior leadership training.
- Familiarity with the latest educational research and pedagogical approaches.
