The Opportunity:
As a Maths Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring and educating students across the 11–18 age range. You will join a passionate and experienced team dedicated to delivering innovative and engaging lessons that help students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach mathematics to students across all ability levels and key stages.
- Deliver high-quality, engaging, and innovative lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
- Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and intervention strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices in teaching and learning.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to extracurricular activities, including maths clubs and enrichment programs.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Provide pastoral support and guidance to students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS).
- Experience teaching mathematics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics.
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience with teaching students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Experience with GCSE and A-Level mathematics curricula.
- Experience with pastoral support and student welfare.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
