The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons to students across a range of abilities.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Mathematics curriculum.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support where needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and improve teaching and learning.
- Participate in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) to enhance subject knowledge and teaching techniques.
- Support the school’s Catholic ethos through teaching and pastoral care.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities for students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with QTS or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Mathematics at Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
- Commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Preferred
- Experience of teaching A Level Mathematics or Further Mathematics.
- Experience in leading or mentoring other teachers.
- Experience with data analysis and assessment strategies.
- Experience with using IT and digital resources in teaching.
