Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students across all key stages, including GCSE and A Level.
  • Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies across the school.
  • Support the academic success of students through individualised teaching and differentiated instruction.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and promote a culture of excellence.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and maths-related events.
  • Demonstrate initiative in developing innovative teaching resources and methodologies.
  • Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
  • Ability to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level standards.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and school values.
  • Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Preferred

  • Experience in a school with a strong academic reputation.
  • Experience with the Prep Department or teaching younger students.
  • Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
  • Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Mathematics.
  • NQT or ECT status is welcomed and considered.
