Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons to students across all key stages, including GCSE and A Level.
- Contribute to the development of the Mathematics curriculum and teaching strategies across the school.
- Support the academic success of students through individualised teaching and differentiated instruction.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and promote a culture of excellence.
- Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and development.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and maths-related events.
- Demonstrate initiative in developing innovative teaching resources and methodologies.
- Provide pastoral support to students where appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Mathematics education.
- Ability to teach Mathematics to GCSE and A Level standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and school values.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Preferred
- Experience in a school with a strong academic reputation.
- Experience with the Prep Department or teaching younger students.
- Experience with differentiated instruction and supporting students with diverse learning needs.
- Familiarity with digital tools and resources for teaching Mathematics.
- NQT or ECT status is welcomed and considered.
