The Opportunity:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking department dedicated to inspiring students across KS3 and KS4. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a school that values innovation and evidence-based teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3 and KS4.
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement and progression.
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning and development.
- Support the school’s commitment to raising academic standards through continuous professional development.
- Engage with students and parents to promote a positive learning culture and strong pastoral care.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance the school community.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
- Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
- Experience working in a school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating or similar standards.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based teaching practices.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
- Experience working in a school that has been named a Best Place to Work.
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives and curriculum development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
