The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking department dedicated to inspiring students across KS3 and KS4. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in a school that values innovation and evidence-based teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that engage and challenge students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student achievement and progression.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental planning and development.
  • Support the school’s commitment to raising academic standards through continuous professional development.
  • Engage with students and parents to promote a positive learning culture and strong pastoral care.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and events that enhance the school community.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong knowledge of the Maths curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Experience working in a school with an Outstanding Ofsted rating or similar standards.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based teaching practices.

Preferred

  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technology in the classroom.
  • Experience working in a school that has been named a Best Place to Work.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to departmental initiatives and curriculum development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues.
