Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to students at all levels, including A level.
  • Develop and implement evidence-informed teaching strategies that promote deep understanding and engagement.
  • Support students of all abilities to achieve outstanding academic outcomes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Maths curriculum and share best practices.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the planning and delivery of the Maths programme.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Maths education.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning at all levels, including A level.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and evidence-based teaching practices.
  • Experience in working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Familiarity with current educational research and pedagogical approaches.
  • Experience with teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Involvement in extra-curricular activities or school-wide initiatives.
