Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Science and Physics lessons to GCSE and A level students.
  • Develop and implement evidence-informed teaching strategies that support student achievement.
  • Adapt and enhance existing resources to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress to ensure positive outcomes across all ability levels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of the science curriculum.
  • Support the school’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to the wider school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Science and Physics.
  • Experience delivering effective teaching and learning strategies that yield positive student outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work with students of varying abilities and adapt lessons accordingly.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science and Physics, specifically at GCSE and A level.

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or contributing to curriculum development.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience in extracurricular science activities or STEM initiatives.
