The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and stimulating mathematics lessons across all year groups.
- Act as an academic tutor to a small group of students, providing individualised support and guidance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
- Support the delivery of Further Maths and IB courses where applicable.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and problem-solving.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of the mathematics curriculum.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students in line with the school’s safeguarding policies.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A strong degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- A teaching qualification such as a PGCE or equivalent, or the ability and commitment to achieve one.
- Experience in teaching mathematics at a secondary level or the potential to develop outstanding classroom practice.
- The ability to teach across a range of ability levels and age groups.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching Further Maths or the International Baccalaureate (IB).
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent student outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and innovation in teaching.
