The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3–5, including A Level Mathematics
  • Support students of all abilities and ensure high expectations are maintained
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities and pastoral support
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Maths Faculty to raise attainment and improve teaching practices
  • Develop and implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress
  • Provide individualised support to students to help them achieve their full potential
  • Participate in departmental meetings and planning sessions
  • Stay up to date with developments in Mathematics education and pedagogy

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Mathematics education
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics
  • Ability to teach Mathematics up to A Level
  • Commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Experience working with students across Key Stages 3–5

Preferred

  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language
  • Experience in a co-educational setting
  • Experience in independent or selective school environments
  • Previous leadership or mentoring experience
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
