The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that promote student achievement and a love of learning in Mathematics
- Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that support student progress and attainment
- Monitor and assess student performance regularly, providing constructive feedback and support
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the Maths department’s overall effectiveness
- Contribute to the wider school community through extra-curricular activities and pastoral support
- Stay up to date with developments in the Maths curriculum and educational research
- Support students in preparing for examinations and assessments
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and attainment
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Experience in teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to student achievement and professional development
Preferred
- Experience with KS5 teaching
- Experience in a school with a strong Ofsted rating
- Familiarity with teaching in a multi-academy trust
- Experience with educational technology and innovative teaching methods
- Experience working with diverse student groups
