Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, engaging Science lessons that meet curriculum requirements and inspire student interest.

- Monitor and assess student performance, providing constructive feedback to help learners reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to departmental and whole-school initiatives.
- Support the school’s commitment to professional development by participating in training and reflective practice.
- Engage with parents and the wider community to promote Science education and student success.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular Science activities and events.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attainment in line with school policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Science.
- Experience in teaching Science at the appropriate level.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
Preferred
- Experience with innovative teaching methods or technology in Science education.
- Background in curriculum development or leadership within a Science department.
- Experience in working with students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Familiarity with the Wade Deacon Trust and its values.
